Paragliding in Kalamata – Experience the Ultimate Sense of Freedom

The Messinian Gulf is considered one of the best places in Greece for tandem paragliding (parapente), featuring one of the highest take-off points in the country. Just east of the city of Kalamata lies Mount Kalathi, with the take-off site located at an altitude of 940 meters. From there, certified and experienced pilots guide you on an extraordinary flight above the Gulf, ending with a safe landing right in front of the Filoxenia Hotel, by the beach.

Transportation

Transportation to the take-off point is provided by us. We depart from the Filoxenia Hotel, located on the eastern side of Kalamata, and drive you to the site while you enjoy a scenic 13.5 km ride overlooking the Messinian Gulf. The launch site is located in the village of Ano Verga, at an altitude of 940 meters, directly in front of the small chapel of Agios Dimitrios.
