Traveling by train in Greece is a relaxing and scenic way to explore the country, perfect for those who prefer stress-free travel and want to enjoy the journey itself. The most popular and frequent routes are between Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as other key cities such as Larissa and Volos. Modern InterCity trains and newly upgraded rail infrastructure make train travel reliable, comfortable, and often quite affordable.
